Phil Yu, Angry Asian Man, Moderator

Phil Yu founded the blog Angry Asian Man in 2001. The blog focuses on Asian American news, media, and politics. The Washington Post calls Angry Asian Man "a daily must-read for the media-savvy, socially conscious, pop-cultured Asian American."

Brian Yang, Producer, Panelist

Brian Yang is a second generation Chinese American that began his acting career after he had attended the University of California, Berkeley where he studied biology and dramatic arts. Most recently, he was the host for a reality show in China called Shanghai Rush - China's biggest budgeted reality show to date.

Evan Jackson Leong, Director, Panelist

Evan Jackson Leong is a sixth-generation Chinese American native of San Francisco.  Leong directed two half-hour, nationally broadcast films: Him Mark Lai: The People’s Historian and Forging a Feature: The Journey of Better Luck Tomorrow.  His feature-length documentaries include: 1040: Christianity in New Asia and Linsanity, which premiered at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival.  In 2021, his first narrative film, Snakehead, had its international premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. 

Ronny Chieng, Comedian, Panelist

Ronny Xin Yi Chieng is a Malaysian comedian and actor. Chieng is currently a senior correspondent on The Daily Show on Comedy Central and creator and star of the sitcom Ronny Chieng: International Student which premiered on ABC and Comedy Central Asia in 2017.
