Phil Yu, Angry Asian Man, Moderator

Phil Yu is a writer, speaker and host best known as the creator of the popular blog Angry Asian Man. He is co-host of the podcast They Call Us Bruce, and co-author of the book RISE: A Pop History of Asian America From the Nineties to Now.

The Fung Brothers, Comedian, Panelist

The Fung Brothers are a Chinese-American duo consisting of comedians and hosts Andrew Fung and David Fung, who are brothers born and raised in Kent, Washington. Here's their YouTube video Eating Americanized Chinese Food with Jeremy Lin.

Evan Jackson Leong, Director, Panelist

Evan Jackson Leong is a 6th-generation Chinese American native of San Francisco. 

Leong directed notable feature-length documentaries, including 1040: Christianity in New Asia and Linsanity (Sundance, 2013). In 2021, his first narrative film, Snakehead, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Ronny Chieng, Comedian, Panelist

Ronny Xin Yi Chieng is a stand-up comedian, actor and correspondent on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. He starred in the worldwide hit movie Crazy Rich Asians, Marvel's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and his Netflix stand-up comedy special Asian Comedian Destroys America!

Michelle Yu, Anchor and Reporter, Panelist

Michelle Yu is an Emmy Award winning sports anchor. She was at SNY — the home of the Mets — for 10 years and prior to that, she was an anchor and reporter at NY1 News. She is the first Asian female sportscaster in New York. A Bronx native, Michelle also co-authored two fictional novels, China Dolls, and Young, Restless and Broke.

Cary Chow, Anchor and Writer, Panelist

One of the 1st Chinese Americans to anchor at a national sports network, Cary Chow is a broadcast journalism veteran for nearly two decades. The former SportsCenter host’s award-winning TV work includes ESPN, MSNBC and NBC Washington, and he interviewed Jeremy Lin and wrote extensively about Linsanity when he was at ESPN. 

Alex Niu, Television Host, Panelist

Alex is a celebrity host based in Taiwan who has hosted competition shows such as Fear Factor Taiwan, Extreme Taiwan Trekkers, as well as numerous NBA player events in Asia.  He is a graduate of UCLA.

Brian Yang, Producer, Panelist

Brian Yang is an actor and producer who has starred in Hawaii 5-0, Saving Face, and Disney+'s The Little Prince(ss). Producing credits include Linsanity, Snakehead, and several pieces for the NBA, ESPN, and Fox Sports.

Christopher Chen, Producer, Panelist

Christopher Chen is a founder and partner of Majordomo Media, with Chef David Chang of Momofuku. Together, they have produced Ugly Delicious, and Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner for Netflix, and The Next Thing You Eat for Hulu.  Previously, one of the founders of Endgame Entertainment, he worked on various projects such as The Year of the Yao, Sneakerheadz, and Looper.
